In his address, the Sultan urged Nigerians to turn to farming to help alleviate economic hardship and the high cost of living in the country. He emphasized the need for Nigerians, especially those in the north, to maximize the rainy season for farming. “We should all go back to farming and produce food because doing so will ease our condition and boost the country’s economy,” he advised.

Mr. Abubakar acknowledged the efforts of the country’s leaders but stressed that more actions are needed to address the current challenges. “We are fully aware that the leaders in the country are doing their best to ease the hardship, but more needs to be done. Our people, particularly in the north, are in a very difficult situation. Therefore, leaders need to do more to tackle the current challenges,” he said.
