Wole Soyinka Allegedly Fought For Democracy, Though We Know Why — Eedris Abdulkareem

The controversial singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, known for his latest hit song ‘Emilokan’, has admitted that the playwright, Wole Soyinka, fought for democracy even though his reasons for doing so was because of his relationship with Bola Tinubu.

Abdulkareem made this known during an interview with Sahara Reporters on Friday.

He reminded Bola Tinubu that he was not the only one that fought for democracy.

“Also always remember you’re not the only one that fought for democracy, there are a lot of people that fought for democracy”.

He went further to state that, ” Wole Soyinka fought for democracy even though he had been very quiet lately.

” I know he has a good relationship with Tinubu, so we know why”, he added.
