Terrorists reportedly kill three people, including an elderly couple, in the Ikpele community of Agatu Local Government Area, Benue State.
The incident happened over the weekend when some terrorists stormed the community, where several people were reportedly injured during the invasion.
Confirming the incident, Godwin Edoh, a member representing Agatu State Constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, expressed deep concern about the ongoing killings in the local government.
“An elderly husband and wife were killed inside their house during the attack,” Godwin said.

The cause of the killing could not be ascertained, as it’s becoming increasingly difficult to identify the killers. Authorities are investigating the incident but have yet to find any leads.
