Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, expressed sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in Awgbu Community, Anambra State, as a fatal road traffic accident resulted in the loss of five lives and left numerous others injured
In a statement shared on his official social media page, he emphasized the need for solidarity and support in times of such profound loss.
“I am sincerely saddened by the tragic news of the fatal road traffic accident that occurred in Awgbu Community, Anambra State, today. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families who lost their loved ones and prayers for quick healing to those injured,” Peter Obi tweeted.
Acknowledging the swift response of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the assistance provided by passersby who aided the victims, Obi highlighted the importance of community support and effective emergency response in mitigating the impact of such incidents.
