Minister of Women Affairs Declares Man Wanted for Rape, Placed N1million Bounty

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs, has announced a N1 million bounty on Magnus Okpalannadi, 62, accused of raping his three-year-old daughter.

This announcement was made in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by ministry spokesperson Grace Njoku.

Kennedy-Ohanenye revealed that the ministry received a report alleging that Okpalannadi, a resident of Onitsha, Anambra State, had been sexually molesting his young daughter.

Upon discovery, Okpalannadi reportedly disappeared before he could be apprehended.

“We will ensure the immediate prosecution of this pedophile to deter potential perpetrators,” she declared.

The minister emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a safe environment for all citizens.

Kennedy-Ohanenye also reaffirmed the government’s dedication to protecting the rights and dignity of every Nigerian child, woman, and vulnerable individual.
