The Chairman of the Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ramotalai Akinola Hassan, has distributed “working tools” to security personnel in the area to enhance community safety.
The distributed items included cutlasses, spades, raincoats, and torches.
Hassan, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), announced the distribution on her X page.
She emphasized that this initiative was part of her commitment to enhancing efficiency and ensuring the safety of her community.
Hassan articulated, “Today, Monday, the 15th of July, 2024, I had the privilege of presenting new working tools to our diligent Draindock workers and essential security materials to our dedicated security personnel.
“This initiative is part of our commitment to enhancing efficiency and ensuring the safety of our community. We value the hard work and dedication of our team members and remain steadfast in our efforts to improve their working conditions.
“Together, we continue to strive towards a safer and more prosperous Oriade LCDA,” she added.
