Sanusi was freed on Thursday, according to lawyers working with human rights activist Deji Adeyanju’s team.
Upon his release, a Nigerian politician and activist, Omoyele Sowere took to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday to share the news and express his gratitude to those who supported him during his detention.
