A concerned Nigerian youth has been spotted protesting alone in Wuse 2, Abuja, ahead of the upcoming #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest, which is set to take place from August 1 to 10.
In a video seen by SaharaReporters, the young man is seen holding a sign that reads “Hunger dey!” Hungry dey! We must protest,” he passionately called for action.
“Enough is enough, we must protest,” he declared. “Tell the federal capital territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police Nigerians are suffering. We must protest!”
The protester’s lone demonstration highlights Nigerians’ growing dissatisfaction, laying the groundwork for a larger protest aimed at addressing issues of poor governance and widespread poverty.
