A 22-year-old Nigerian content creator and food consultant, Munachimso Brian Nwana, has set a new Guinness World Record by visiting 150 fast food restaurants within 24 hours.
Brian achieved this feat in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, surpassing the previous record of 100 restaurants set in 2023 by American YouTuber Airrack.
Starting his journey at the Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa residential area, Brian walked more than 25 kilometers, concluding his marathon at a Kilimanjaro fast food chain in the city center. According to Guinness World Records, Brian completed the entire route on foot, as private transportation was not allowed for the record attempt.
To meet the requirements of the record, at least 75% of the orders had to be food, and Brian made a point of tasting something from the majority of the restaurants he visited.
The Guinness World Record in a post on its official page, explained that “no private transportation is allowed when attempting this record, and with the city’s limited public transit options, Brian completed the entire route on foot.
“To successfully achieve the record, at least with the requirement, 75% of the orders are food,” they added.

Brian stated that he ate “probably enough to last a week” and made an effort to taste something – even if just a mouthful – from the majority of places he visited. The remaining food was all consumed by his team and members of the public.
