The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced a profit of N3.3 trillion for the 2023 financial year.
The Chief Financial Officer of NNPC Ltd., Umar Ajiya, announced on Monday that the company has declared a record profit of N3.3 trillion for the 2023 financial year, marking the highest profit in the company’s history.
In addition, NNPC Ltd. has declared a dividend of N2.101 trillion for the same year. This 2023 profit represents an increase of over N1 trillion compared to the N2.548 trillion profit reported in the 2022 financial year.
The statement said, “The NNPC Limited has released its 2023 Audited Financial Statement (AFS), declaring a net profit of N3.297 trillion at the close of the financial year which ended in December 2023, an increase of over N700billion (28%) when compared to the 2022 profit of N2.548trillion.”
