The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed German former Bayer Leverkusen manager, Bruno Labbadia, as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
This was disclosed on Tuesday in a post by The NFF on it X handle, stating Labbadia’s appointment after the NFF search for a foreign coach..
The statement was signed and released by Mohammed Sanusi who serves as the Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation.
He said, “The NFF Executive Committee has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee to appoint Mr. Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles. The appointment is with immediate effect.”

Labbadia becomes the 37th Head Coach of the Super Eagles after the resignation of former coach, Finidi George.
