BREAKING: Moghalu Quits APC, Severs Ties with Resignation Letter

Chief Dr. George Moghalu, the first National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially resigned from the party.

The resignation, which took effect on August 26, 2024, was conveyed through a letter addressed to the chairman of Uruagu Ward 1 in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State.

In his resignation letter, Moghalu stated that his decision to leave the party was a personal one. He expressed a desire to maintain the cordial relationships he had built with his colleagues over the years.

The letter, which was also copied to the Local Government Area and State Chairmen of the party, read, “I bring you good wishes of my dear family and to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership of the APC with effect from today, August 26, 2024.

“Please, kindly accept this as my personal decision. It is my utmost desire and expectations that all of us will continue to maintain cordial relationship that we have built together over the years.

“I wish you and all the members of the party the very best. Please, accept as always the assurance of my best regards.”

Moghalu, who previously served as the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has been a prominent figure in the APC since its formation.
