Much-Needed Change in Nigeria Will Come Through Divine Intervention—Kumuyi Charges Nigerians to Pray More

Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministries, expressed optimism yesterday that the much-needed change in Nigeria will come through divine intervention.

Kumuyi made this statement during his visit to the Palace of Eze Ekpeye Logbo in Ahoada, Rivers State, shortly after his arrival for the September edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

The crusade is scheduled to take place from Thursday, September 26th to Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at the Western Ahoada County High School, with daily sessions from 4 pm to 7 pm.

He encouraged citizens to continually seek God’s guidance in addressing the nation’s challenges and praised the youth for their advocacy against poor governance and hunger. Kumuyi, who is also the convener of the GCK, held the previous edition in Warri, Delta State, in August.

The crusade series, which spans Africa and other continents, has seen thousands of participants turning to Christ and witnessing remarkable miracles both at the venues and through social media platforms.

He said: “I appreciate the courage, foresight, and vision of our youth, and what everybody wants is what the youth testified about and demanded; we need good governance but one rain does not come from our front, our back, sides, we look up, the rain will come from above, a change will come for our nation.

“What will happen as a result of this special Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, we are having in Ahoada will be incredible and all I am saying is come and see.”

On his part, the Monarch of Ekpeye Land, Eze Kelvin Ngozi-Anugwo, expressed optimism that the crusade tagged ‘The Wonders of God’s Grace’ will bring blessings.

“Today, you have stepped your feet on the land of Ekpeye Nation, and it is a thing of joy. We are all overwhelmed to receive you, and we want to also assure you, that we will partake in the crusade”, he said.

He also mentioned that the Ekpeye Nation fully supports the GCK event taking place in Ahoada.

“We will also support the crusade. We know that you are an ordained Man of God. You came to Ekpeye Land in the year 2016, and there were transformations, turnarounds, and all for good.

“For me, I have faith and believe that we are going to receive it more in the Name of Jesus Christ”, he prayed.
