The renowned broadcaster and journalist, Oseni Rufai has stated how surprised he will be if justice eventually prevails in the case of Bobrisky and the EFCC.
Oseni’s outburst is coming following a lawsuit filed by Bobrisky against social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.
The court document shared online by Bobrisky revealed that he is seeking ₦1 billion in damages, accusing VeryDarkMan of defamation and harming his reputation.
However, Rufai in a post on his X handle on Sunday revealed how cases of such in the past ends with no positive results especially in Nigeria where the big problem is vested interest.
While expressing his fears and skepticism about the case he however prayed that the case does not end in social media clout and defamation suits.
His post reads,”I will be surprised if justice is done in this prison saga, when fisayo soyombo made revelations about the prison nothing was done.
“Many petitions on the prison by been sent to the authorities in the past but nothing has been done.
“I just hope it will not end in social media clout and defamation suits here and there and the real issues will not be solved.
“Vested interest is the problem of Nigeria, we are not ready to fight the ills of society.”
