The controversial social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkman has thrown out some rhetorical questions to the public following the public apology tendered by Pastor Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG.
Earlier on Friday, Pastor Adeboye in a video making round social media apologized to the public about saying that anyone who doesn’t pay tithe won’t go to heaven.
According to him, his utterance was a mistake and was not even in the Bible.
Reacting to his apology, VeryDarkMan on a video on his official X handle commended pastor Adeboye for taking such bold steps to own up to his mistakes and apologize. He added that he awaits the apology of other men of God who must have said somethings that is not in the Bible.
VeryDarkMan stated,”Well, I’m really happy about what papa Adeboye just reviewed so I’m waiting for all those pastors, the likes of David Ebiomi that will say give tithes and always preaching about tithe and if you don’t give tithes, this one will happen, that one will happen.
“The number one man of the religious church people in Nigeria has come out to apologize that he’s sorry to say that if you don’t pay tithe, you’ll not make heaven that it is not in the Bible, not in the Bible.
“Which other thing have they told us that’s not in the Bible? That’s what am concerned about.
“What other thing have they told the people that is not in the Bible? How many things have they manipulated that is not in the Bible?
“I am glad papa Adeboye came out to say these things so imagine the ones that will not come out and apologize! Imagine the ones that have manipulated the minds of people? that have converted, twisted the right words, the right message of the bible to suit their own narrative, just imagine…”
