Crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worsens as the National Vice Chairman for the South East zone, Ali Odefa, has been suspended in his ward at Oguduokwor Ward, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, over anti-party activities.
The suspension, effective immediately, was announced on Friday in Abuja following a meeting of the Ward Executive Committee.
During a briefing with journalists in Abuja, the acting Chairman of the party’s Oguduokwor Ward, Herbert Onyedikachi, along with other executives, explained the decision.
According to him, Odefa’s suspension is due to alleged anti-party activities and other offences considered detrimental to the party’s image and interests.
