Former Niger Delta warlord, Asari Dokubo, has issued a stern warning to Chief Bola Tinubu led federal government, threatening to shoot down a police helicopter flying over his residence.
His remarks come amid local government elections in Rivers State, with tensions high between various political figures.
In a video circulating on X, Dokubo expressed concerns about his safety and accused former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike of attempting to disrupt the elections.
He called on Chief Bola Tinubu to intervene and prevent Wike from interfering in the local polls.

“I swear by Allah, I will shoot down the police helicopter,” Dokubo stated in the video. He further claimed that he had the capability to confront any government forces that might challenge him.
