The Liverpool Commonwealth Association is set to host Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, for a key event focused on trade and investment.
The event, titled “Harnessing the Commonwealth Advantage for Trade and Investment,” will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LJMU Legal Advice Centre and Business Clinics, Hardman House, Hardman St, Liverpool.
Peter Obi, who served as the Governor of Anambra State and was the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential election candidate, will lead discussions on leveraging Commonwealth opportunities for economic growth.
As the former chairman of Next International and a long-time strategic partner of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, Obi has been a vocal advocate for enhancing trade relations within the Commonwealth family.
