Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, a renowned human rights activist and former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), labeling the agency as “terrorist organization.”
Agbakoba, in an interview on Arise TV, said EFCC operatives were abusing their powers to bully and intimidate Nigerians.
“They are terrorists… they are terrorizing us… intimidating Nigerians with their powers,” Agbakoba said.

Agbakoba also stated that the agency operates outside the framework laid down by the Nigerian Constitution.
