The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, has expressed confidence that the construction of 40 Judges’ Quarters in Katampe District, Abuja, will enhance the performance of judicial officers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking at the project’s flag-off ceremony on Monday, the CJN emphasised that the initiative marks a major milestone in the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the welfare of judicial officers.
She noted that providing judges with a conducive living environment is essential to enabling them to focus on the weighty responsibilities they carry.
She further highlighted that judges require peace of mind, security, and comfort in their residences to perform their duties with full attention and efficiency.
