Nigeria was on Thursday plunged into darkness as the country’s national grid collapsed again.
According to report, the bulk power supply was disrupted around 11:20am on Thursday.
This was confirmed on X by Nigeria National Grid via @NationalGridNg.
It tweeted: “BREAKING: Another Grid Setback Experienced.”
However, this is the second time the grid has collapsed in a week and the twelveth time in the last eleven months.

The development has stirred mixed reactions on social media among Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the Transmission Company of Nigeria has not issued an official statement on the reason the grid collapsed again on Thursday.
However, recall that TCN blamed the grid collapse on lines and generator trips on Tuesday.
