According to GWR, Alan took on both challenges consecutively, spending over 160 hours in the kitchen, with just a day’s rest in between. His culinary journey began in 2008 when he embarked on an overseas graduate program, ultimately leading him to Tokyo, where he established his restaurant, Kyojin Stewhouse.
Focusing on traditional Irish mainstays like stews, soups, homemade breads, and potatoes, Alan’s establishment not only transports patrons to Ireland but also offers a sense of being in his own home.
