Residents of Iddo-Sarki along Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, staged a protest on Monday against what they claim is a land takeover by the Nigerian Navy.

Tensions escalated two weeks ago among the natives and residents when the Nigerian Navy erected demolition signposts in the area, instructing them to evacuate their homes.
