Bababode Osunkoya, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc, has passed away.
The news was confirmed in a statement filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday night. Osunkoya’s death came after a brief illness on Tuesday.
The statement, signed by company secretary Sunday Ekwochi, announced that the company’s board now consists of nine members.
This includes six non-executive directors (two of whom are independent) and three executive directors, including the group chief executive officer.

The financial institution has stated that the board will announce Osunkoya’s successor in due course.
