“Account For Money You Collected”, Obi Urges Obidient Support Groups

In his recent Twitter engagement, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, addressed allegations of money mismanagement within the party. He emphasized a commitment to transparency, stating that while these allegations are under investigation by reputable investigators, he would refrain from commenting until the probes are concluded.

Obi extended his scrutiny beyond the Labour Party, acknowledging similar allegations within various support groups, cliques, and blocs that backed his presidential bid. He urged leaders of these groups to promptly account for any funds they received, highlighting his accountability in this regard. Failure to do so, he cautioned, would incur divine retribution, as he believed it unjust to misuse public funds.

“It is not right to spend money earmarked for the public,” He stated firmly.
