Popular Nigerian comedian and social activist, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, knowns as Mr. Macaroni, has publicly criticized Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for his recent remarks in which he called a citizen “stupid” in a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter).
In a recent tweet on X, in a strongly-worded message directed at Wike, Mr. Macaroni emphasized that as a public servant, the minister owes citizens respect and humility.
While reminding Wike that it is the citizens’ taxes that pay his salary, urging him to address Nigerians with “utmost humility and respect” rather than with disdain.
Mr. Macaroni further condemned Wike’s perceived attitude, pointing out that the role of a public servant does not grant the authority to belittle or look down on those they serve.
