Ebiraland’s monarch, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, 94 years old, has joined his ancestors today following an age-related sickness that had held him down before his demise.
The king reportedly died in a hospital in Abuja on Sunday after a protracted illness.
King Ado Ibrahim took over the royalty as the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland following the demise of the previous Ohinoyi, Sanni Omolori, in 1997.
Ado Ibrahim completed his secondary schooling at Oduduwa College and Ondo Boys High School.
In 1954, the London School of Economics awarded him a B.Sc. in Economics, and in 1959, Harvard Business School awarded him an MBA.
We understand that the king’s precise sickness is undisclosed at the moment. The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland will be put to rest today in Okene with respect to Islamic rites.
Speaking of the deceased monarch, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday through a statement signed by Ajure Ngelale celebrates the life of the king.
“The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was in a class of his own. He was highly respected and admired for his deep insights, wisdom, and sophistication. He had a masterful way of handling issues. He was very knowledgeable and wise. May Almighty Allah grant His Majesty Aljannah Firdaus,” the statement reads.
