Again, Terrorists Invade Abuja Estate, Kidnap 10

A group of terrorists disguised as herdsmen infiltrated Sagwari Layout Estate in Dutse, located on the outskirts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) within the Bwari Area Council, on Sunday evening.

Vanguard reported that the kidnappers took eight residents and then proceeded to abduct two staff members of a nearby hotel.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., armed marauders wielding guns infiltrated the estate, reportedly guiding their victims to the hills situated behind the residential area.

According to an eyewitness, attempts by both estate security and additional security personnel to pursue the kidnappers faced intense resistance.

The terrorists, equipped with superior firepower, strategically fired from advantageous positions atop the hills.

Over the weekend, the FCT Police Command reassured Abuja residents, especially those in Ushafa, Bwari, and surrounding areas, of their safety.

The deployment of extra police personnel aimed to preemptively address security threats in the region.

Ushafa, located a mere five minutes from the Dutse estate, was specifically highlighted in the assurance.
