Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has taken a jab at Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, congratulating him sarcastically on the state of Nigeria’s economy.
Yesufu accused Tinubu of effectively plunging Nigerians into poverty under the current administration, highlighting the inability of many to afford basic necessities.
In her official X handle, Yesufu stated, “Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing very well in throwing people into poverty. Many can no longer afford the basics in Nigeria,” she said.
“Congratulations Tinubu! You are doing very well!
“You might be the reason Nigerians realize the poverty that unites them is greater and more devastating than the tribe and religion that separate them,” she added.
