Alex Onyia, Nigerian tech entrepreneur and education advocate, has slammed the Nigeria government over what he described as massive corruption.
In a post shared widely online, Onyia said Nigeria’s problem is not just corruption but “senseless wickedness and heartlessness” shown by both private and public officials.
Alex argued that the scale of public sector theft including funds meant for national projects and state development goes beyond ordinary corruption seen in Western countries.

Onyia noted that while corruption is a global issue, the Nigerian version is marked by extreme greed and a disturbing lack of empathy.
He cited examples of officials allegedly stealing entire budgets meant for critical sectors, leaving millions of ordinary Nigerians to bear the brunt of collapsed services, insecurity, and widespread poverty.
His remarks ignited intense debate across social media platforms. Supporters agreed that Nigeria’s corruption crisis reflects deeper moral decay within its political class.
The reaction underscores growing public frustration with accountability failures in the Tinubu-led administration.
