Alex Otti Vows To Help Labour Party Win Edo

Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti, made a significant move towards securing victory for the Labour Party in the upcoming Edo State governorship election during his recent visit to the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

Vowing to collaborate closely with the Abure leadership, Governor Otti expressed gratitude for the party’s unwavering support, emphasizing the pivotal role of the party platform in sustaining political influence.

Addressing the National Working Committee, Otti acknowledged the critical nature of party allegiance, stating, “When you take away the party, the individual collapses, even if it is the president.” He credited his success as the only elected Labour Party governor to hard work, dedication, and a genuine commitment to the people.

Labour Party National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, commended Governor Otti’s transformative governance in Abia State within a short timeframe. Abure expressed confidence in repositioning the party as a formidable force in Nigerian politics, assuring the governor of fielding the best candidates in the upcoming elections in Edo and Ondo states.

National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, praised Governor Otti for his astute appointment of local government leaders, citing positive changes in security and essential services. Ifoh highlighted the mayor’s efforts in restoring power to a community deprived for six months and his proactive stance against criminal activities.
