Amid Glaring Hardship, Akpabio Says Tinubu Turned Abuja, Other Nigerian Cities to London in One Year

Amid the harsh economic realities faced by Nigerians, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has commended Bola Tinubu for what he described as a remarkable transformation of Abuja and other Nigerian cities, likening them to London within a year of his administration.

Mr. Akpabio made the remarks on Wednesday while delivering a speech during the presentation of the 2025 budget proposal by Tinubu.

“Notably, your infrastructural renaissance has paved the way, including the Coastal Road—a crucial axis in Abuja capital city. Imagine Abuja now looking almost like London and other parts of our country,” Mr Akpabio noted.
