Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has stated that anyone dreaming of becoming president of Nigeria in 2027 without breaking up the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is not serious.
Amadi’s statement comes after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the All Progressives Congress, APC’s Monday Okpebholo as winner of the Edo State governorship election.
The Saturday election according to report, was characterized with clear signs of vote rigging and electoral manipulation by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in some electoral wards in the state.
Some Nigerians alleged that in Etsako East Local Government Area, the All Progressives Congress (APC) reportedly received 352 votes, even though only 213 voters were accredited, showing evidence of rigging.
Amadi made this outburst in a post shared on his X handle on Monday.
