Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has called for a strong coalition to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during an interview on Politics Today on Channels Television, Ologbondiyan emphasized the need for opposition parties to unite and present a formidable challenge against the ruling party. He noted that this approach is crucial to rescuing the nation from its current state.
Ologbondiyan criticized the APC-led government for its inability to address the challenges facing Nigerians.
He argued that the ruling party has failed in its promise to improve the lives of citizens, pointing to the worsening economic conditions and increasing poverty across the country. According to him, the APC’s poor performance has left Nigerians disillusioned and yearning for change.
Ologbondiyan expressed concern over the level of hardship in the country, stating that many Nigerians are struggling to afford basic necessities.
