APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has called on Nigerian music star Davido to retract his recent comments describing the Nigeria’s economy as a ‘Shambled Economy’
Speaking during a recent event in the United States, Davido reportedly described Nigeria’s economy as being in shambles, a statement that did not sit well with Igbokwe.
The APC chieftain while taking to his Facebook on Saturday said, Igbokwe criticized Davido for airing such views on an international platform, stating that his remarks could harm Nigeria’s global reputation.
He insisted that Nigeria has played a significant role in Davido’s success, both as an artist and as a public figure, and urged him to reconsider his statement. “This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement as soon as possible. Nigeria made Davido. QED!” Igbokwe stated.
