People Destroying Our Future are These Greedy, Incompetent APC Politicians Who Are Always Quick to Resort to Violence When Challenged — Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour

The 2023 governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has restated that Lagos State belongs to the people and not just the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and his parasitic family members or allies.

In a post on his verified account, Rhodes-Vivour noted that the strategy of the APC has always been to keep citizens talking about issues of no actual consequences to their lives, while they continue to preside over the state with impunity.

He insisted that the real issues that should dominate the public space remain the gross incompetence of the APC and their utter failure at leadership at both the state and national levels.

He Ivy League-trained architect argued that greed and bad governance do not discriminate based on tribe, yet it thrives in the people being distracted by it.

Rhodes-Vivour emphasised that the only people taking over landed properties, impoverishing people and destroying their future are the greedy and incompetent politicians who are always quick to resort to violence when challenged by opposing voices.

“The real issues are that 139 million Nigerians are living in poverty in 2025. That food inflation is the highest this country has seen, and that terrorists are killing people across the country with impunity. It is about the incompetence of the APC and their utter failure at leadership, the looting in the face of so much suffering.
