Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State and current Senator for Edo North, has rejected a viral video showing him apparently giving a leg massage to a woman on a private jet, insisting that the footage was created using AI.
The video, which circulated widely on Tuesday, showed the 73-year-old ex-labour leader massaging a woman’s leg. Many initially assumed the woman was his wife, Lara Fortess.
Subsequent checks, however, revealed that the woman in the clip was actually 19-year-old South African TikTok creator and adult content influencer Leshaan Da Gama, who identifies as a “Professional Sugar Baby” and originally shared the video on her Instagram account.
While the footage has sparked widespread discussion and controversy across Nigerian social media, Oshiomhole’s media team stated on Wednesday that the video was fabricated using AI and was part of a poorly executed attempt to tarnish the senator’s reputation.
According to his office, the doctored clip was intended to mislead the public and generate negative perceptions of Oshiomhole.
