JUST IN: APC Thugs Arrested Attempting to Smuggle Guns Into Edo State Ahead of Governorship Poll [VIDEO]

Security operatives in Edo State have arrested suspected thugs allegedly sent by the All Progressives Congress (APC) with guns and other weapons ahead of the state’s off-cycle governorship election scheduled for September 21, 2024.

A video shared on Friday by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on their X handle showed the moment the suspects were apprehended in a Sienna vehicle, with guns and other materials recovered. Voices in the background of the video accused the APC of sponsoring the thugs.

The PDP, in a post accompanying the video, commended the security operatives and the people of Edo State for their vigilance.
