Their assault resulted in the burning of several houses, with devastating consequences: a one-year-old child tragically perished in the flames, and 15 homes were reduced to ashes.

The violence also left ten individuals with gunshot wounds, while others, including a 90-year-old man, suffered severe machete injuries across their bodies, according to Vanguard.

Upon the arrival of journalists at the scene, heart-wrenching scenes unfolded as the father of the deceased one-year-old was seen carrying the charred remains of his son, overcome with grief and despair.
