Arsenal Return to Champions League in Grand Style

Arsenal have returned to the UEFA Champions League after a six-year absence from Europe’s most prestigious tournament. They return in a rather loud fashion following the 4-0 hammering of PSV on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta’s side put up a scintillating home performance against PSV with an impressive 4-0 defeat to establish a return in grand style to the UCL.

Eight minutes into the game, Bukayo Saka puts the host ahead before a Leandro Trossard missile fired from the edge of the area doubled the lead.

Before the interval, Gabriel Jesus eventually added the third after a number of wasted first-half opportunities, and Martin Odegaard completed an outstanding performance with an unstoppable drive from the edge of the box in the second half.

Arsenal will face Tottenham on Sunday in a North London derby. The Gunners will be looking to secure at least a point from that game in order to continue with the current positive mentality.
