A horrific mass shooting occurred in Lewiston, Maine, United States of America, leaving up to 60 people injured and at least 22 dead.
There have been at least three separate incidents where the suspect, who is still at large, opened fire.
According to reports, the locations of the incidents were Sparetime bowling alley, Schemengee’s bar and grill, and a Walmart distribution center.
According to eyewitness, the suspect carried a firearm similar to the AR-15.
Less than two miles from Lewiston, the city of Auburn was ordered to remain indoors due to an active shooter scenario that persisted on Wednesday night.
The Central Maine Medical Centre acknowledged a mass casualty shooting as the reason for their response. To accept patients, they are working with nearby hospitals.
Also, local authorities in Maine have received people and resources from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
