The camp of former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to Chief Bola Tinubu’s fall at the Eagles Square venue of the 2024 Democracy Day celebration, describing the incident as a sign of divine displeasure.
Atiku’s Special Advisor on Broadcast Media, Abdul Rasheeth, commented on official X handle, stating, “It’s a sign that God is angry with him.”
This reaction follows the moment when Tinubu slipped while boarding the parade vehicle upon his arrival at the venue.
However, his security details and aides swiftly assisted him in regaining his balance.
In response to the incident, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, downplayed any health concerns, insisting that the President merely missed his step and that there are no underlying health issues.
