In a heartbreaking incident this Friday morning, a one-storey building collapsed in the Ebute-metta area of Lagos State, trapping a baby and two adults in the debris.
The Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the distressing news, revealing that rescue efforts are underway to locate and extricate the remaining family members.
Despite the grim situation, there is a glimmer of hope as one adult female has already been rescued alive and is reported to be in stable condition.

The State Emergency Response Unit is fully activated and collaborating with the Fire and Rescue Service to coordinate the ongoing rescue operation.
