Bandits have taken the life of the only teacher in the Unguwan Dorowa Bakhira community, situated in the Maro community within the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
During the assault in the early hours of Sunday, the assailants also tragically ended the lives of a married couple.
The primary school teacher, known as Mr. Sunday Akorh, hails from Benue State, according to local reports.
Fortunately, there were no reported kidnappings during the attack.
Maigari Ben, a resident and community leader, officially verified the incident when contacted by Daily Trust on Sunday.
“They killed a man and his wife and a primary school teacher, Mr. Sunday Akorh, who was a native of Benue State. He was the only classroom teacher in the primary school of this village. No one was kidnapped,” he said.
The State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, was unavailable to react to the development on the phone at the time of compiling this report.
