Bashir Ahmad, Islamic Extremist Who Tweeted His Support for Death Penalty as Punishment for Blasphemy Deletes Post After Two Days—Netizens React

Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to ex-President Muhammad Buhari, has deleted a post he made in regarding death sentence as punishment for blasphemy.

This was made known in a post shared by an X user, SERAH IBRAHIM.

In the post, Ahmad stated that he is proud to be an islamic extremist.

His post reads,”It is an honor to be called an islamic extremist.

“I can’t pretend or keep silent. I support the death penalty for blasphemy. That’s my believe and I do not and will never support #SaveKanoNine.”

Reacting to Ahmad’s statement, Ibrahim in a post on his X handle wrote,”This was posted by a Government official. And then posted and deleted another 2 days ago like the coward that he is. When we are ready for the right discussions, we will fix Nigeria.”

Netizens has however expressed their opinion and thoughts regarding his post.

“He is one of the people making decisions for this country, disgusting,”Pure Stanley tweeted.

“Funny enough, police pay deaf ears to people like bashir ahmed and arrest those who are practically saying & saving the society. Who doesn’t sees enough of this country?,”Tsaku _Casty wrote.
