The Bauchi State Government has allocated N1 billion for office infrastructure in its 2025 budget.
A key portion of the allocation, N400 million, will be used for the purchase of six computers for the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). An additional N170 million will be spent on acquiring a generator to power the office.
In addition to these provisions, N1 billion has been earmarked for purchasing land for the construction of office buildings to further enhance the state government’s infrastructure.
This allocation follows a recent public statement by Bauchi State Governor, Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed, who criticised the social and economic reforms of Chief Bola Tinubu.
The Governor, while addressing an Islamic cleric who had supported Tinubu’s election, urged the cleric to advise Tinubu on the struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians.
Governor Mohammed emphasised the urgent need for more effective government programs and fiscal responsibility to address widespread suffering in the country.
