In a recent heart-to-heart with Kiss FM in London, Grammy-award-winning musician Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, described being a Nigerian woman as “a miracle.”
She explained, “Being a Nigerian woman is a miracle because being a Nigerian, for anybody, is tough. But I think if you can tap into your gifts and own who you are and be unapologetic about it, and take that to the world, that is an honour.”
Tems, who has gained global recognition for her unique blend of R&B and Afrobeats, opened up about her journey as a Nigerian woman in the music industry.
