Global cryptocurrency exchange platform, Binance, has responded to reports indicating that its official, Nadeem Anjarwalla, has absconded from detention in Nigeria.

Samantha Fuller, a spokesperson for Binance, confirmed the situation, stating that Anjarwalla is no longer in Nigerian territory.

Fuller emphasized the company’s primary concern for the safety and well-being of its employees, affirming active cooperation with Nigerian authorities to promptly address the issue.

Fuller stated, “We were made aware that Nadeem is no longer in Nigerian custody. Our primary focus remains on the safety of our employees, and we are working collaboratively with Nigerian authorities to quickly resolve this issue.”
