Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive, has been remanded in the Kuje Correctional Centre by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Pending the determination of his bail application, Gambaryan will remain in detention.
The decision came after Gambaryan pleaded not guilty to money laundering charges leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday, April 8, 2024, before Justice Emeka Nwite.

The trial judge, Justice Nwite, ordered his remand and adjourned the matter until April 18 for the ruling on his bail application and May 2 for the commencement of trial.
