A viral controversy has erupted in Nigeria after South African influencer and adult-content creator Leshaan Dagama publicly fired back at critics, declaring: “Blame Your Senator, Not Me” — directly challenging the widespread backlash over her appearance in a leaked private jet video with Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
The clip, which surfaced earlier this week and quickly spread across social media, shows the Edo North senator Oshiomhole massaging the feet of a woman seated opposite him in a luxurious private aircraft interior.
The footage sparked intense public outrage, with many Nigerians condemning what they viewed as displays of elite extravagance amid the country’s persistent economic hardships and high living costs.
Senator Oshiomhole, through his media aide, swiftly denied the video’s authenticity.
He described it as a “poorly crafted and edited fake” generated by artificial intelligence, allegedly created for purposes of blackmail or reputational damage.
In contrast, Leshaan Dagama — identified by online investigators and media reports as the woman in the clip — did not dispute the encounter.
Instead, she addressed the flood of angry comments and messages directed at her social media pages via her Instagram Stories on February 4, 2026.
“Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him, not me,” she wrote in a pointed response that has since been widely shared and screenshot across platforms, including X (formerly Twitter).
The statement effectively shifts responsibility back to Oshiomhole while confirming her involvement without providing further details about the circumstances of the flight or their relationship.

Reports describe Dagama as a lifestyle influencer who has openly positioned herself as a “professional sugar baby” on her TikTok and Instagram accounts, where she has previously shared content warning “broke people” to stay away.
The incident has fueled broader online discussions about political accountability, privilege, and the disconnect between public officials and ordinary citizens.
Some users mocked Oshiomhole’s AI explanation as implausible, especially after Dagama’s unapologetic reply appeared to undermine the denial.

As of February 4, 2026, neither Oshiomhole nor his team has issued a further response to Dagama’s comments, leaving the controversy to continue dominating social media conversations in Nigeria.
